About Us
Our mission is to grow and teach the sport of wrestling, at the same time promote a healthy lifestyle for student athletes. Additionally, GWA will teach the necessary skills to be successful on and off the wrestling mat. Athletes will have the opportunity to learn wrestling skills in all three positions: natural, top and bottom Ground techniques. Each skill will be taught incrementally so that every wrestler will be able to grasp each skill.

Goleta Wrestling Academy Fundraiser
Goleta Wrestling Academy is asking for your support and hope you will be able to assist our young wrestling club through a sponsorship or donation to provide essentials for our wrestling club. Goleta Wrestling Academy needs the necessary equipment to maintain a successful wrestling team.
To continue to be successful, we require equipment for the athletes such as singlets, warm-up suits, headgear to prevent injury, a solution to clean the mats and avoid infection, and hairnets for athletes with long hair. In addition, to prepare athletes to do well in the postseason, we must try to secure athletes as much time in the actual competition as possible. Competitions and tournaments incur travel expenses, fees, and nourishment for athletes after cutting weight. Our wrestlers want to wrestle as much as possible, and your help could mean the difference between making it to a tournament or staying at home.
